Poster Prize for the REVEAL-STORAGE Project at ISEC 2026

We are proud to announce that the REVEAL-STORAGE project, represented by the team from Tæknisetur, OST, and Arctus Aluminium Ltd, received a prestigious Poster Prize at ISEC 2026.

The award-winning poster, presented by Daníel Þór Gunnarsson and the project team, focused on inert anode aluminium smelting—an innovative technology with strong potential to reduce carbon emissions and improve sustainability in aluminium production. Out of more than 160 poster submissions, Tæknisetur’s REVEAL-STORAGE poster was selected as one of only three winners.

The prize was accepted on behalf of Daníel Þór Gunnarsson, who was unable to attend the conference in person.

ISEC 2026, hosted in Graz, brought together leading experts, innovators, and industry professionals working on sustainable energy technologies. The conference provided an excellent platform to share the latest results from the REVEAL-STORAGE project, exchange knowledge, and build valuable new connections.
